Urban Botany (2018-2021)

What is Urban Botany? As an initiative of the program Kulturagenten für kreative Schulen Berlin (Cultural Agents for Creative Schools Berlin), children and young people have been working on this question together with artists and cultural partners in over 30 sub-projects at more than 18 schools and daycare centers since summer 2018. How can environmental justice be combined with artistic practices? How can we intervene artistically in the local microcosm – the schoolyard, the school garden, but also outside on the street?
