Kulturverket
Kulturverket is part of Umeå Kulturskola. Their mission is to take advantage of children’s and young
people’s creativity by visiting schools and working together with students in various art and cultural
projects.

At Kulturverket, artists work with a strong interest in pedagogy. They employ filmmakers, musicians
and composers, artists, an animator and an illustrator. They also work on projects with, for example,
writers, hip-hop artists, dancers, actors, which means that students meet performing artists and
cultural workers in Kulturverkets activities.
