HAKA HAKA!

Make a Haka with the group on a sustainable topic that concerns you.

The Haka is a dance of the Maori with them giving a story and group in a realistic way. Powerful enough to surprise the gods. Show a haka, a beautiful wedding haka or a greeting haka. What do you see, which movements come back, what is the rhythm like?

Form groups of 6. Let them stand in a circle and design a haka together.
Hints: Start with a basic rhythm and choose 3 to 5 movements that support your topic. Also pick a few words that make it supportive. You don’t sing these words, you say them to the rhythm.

Stand in a large circle with the whole group. Try the haka in three ways: lazy or slothful, cheerful and impressive (with power). You guide this as a teacher.
And then … clap a joint rhythm, The groups their haka together.

Waste separation haka

Heating a degree lower haka
